well it is a small one so it is only 200w .and it is not on every time .I summer it is on 20minutes from every 60minutes and that is when the light are on at night it is even less  

So in my case and I restate in my case I just buy them and put them in the water and they live. The most difficult part for me is placing them as they keep falling off the first week or so. But after that it is only discipline .I do a water change every Saturday of 10% I use a very good salt and that is it basically. as regards the tank ...

             

   

I have 5 fish in it and  I think that is all as it is very difficult to keep nitrate and nitrite and amonia low. so I better keep it like that
