    Re: Club meeting

One small question/suggestion friends, if there are ways to identify mating pairs. Why not make a table show of mating pairs, i don't know if the actual word is mating pairs, but i'm referring to a male and a female who have just spawn or maybe who have spawned lately...

Although i think that its almost impossible to identify these type of fish ey?

How can you identify a pair that just spawned? Most of our categories are two fish ( where its difficult to identify male and female such as Angels and other big cichlids) or else Pair ( for example gouramis, livebearers, barbs and tetras)

But we're open to your suggestions because its time to review these categories. If you want we can open another thread for table show/ annual show categories.

    Re: Club meeting

I'm surely not an expert identifying fish lol... But since most fish can be identified when they're ready to spawn like more vivid colours, fat bellies or other signs i thought that there exist a way of identifying fish that just spawned... Because i don't think that its worth to take fish out of their habitat befor spawning to bring them to the tableshow lol apart from that its difficult to have a good variety of fish that will be spawning in the same time...

But i think that there could be some suggestions from other members to try new categories in table shows or even in the annual show.

I want to personally congretulate our President Charles Grima for a very interesting talk in December meeting. May I take this opportunity to remind all that another members' meeting will take place on Sunday the 31st January 2010.

    Re: Club meeting

I want to personally congretualte all the members attending today's members' meeting. It has been a while since I saw so many members attending the Club's monthly meeting. There was hardly room for everyone !!!!! This gives us great courage to continue working for the benefit of all members. Once again, the topics were ever so interesting. Thanks to all participants. See you all for February meeting.
