Tomorrow 23rd November we have the meeting, the subject is the following
Automatic feeder DIY
Storage water tank Dechlorinator DIY.
Hope that we will see you there, this meeting can be attended even by non members
Very interesting topics charles, i was thinking of doing a DIY storage water tank dechlorinator.
Also i was considering an automatic fish feeder but to tell you the truth i didn't even notice that you could do it as a DIY...
I like diy projects to be used in our hobby! Also don't forget that we're having another Tropical food offer! Buy 3 and pay for 2! The gozitans are to talk to Adrian for the offer....
See you there guys!
Thanks alot for today's interesting talk Charles.
The feeder is quite easy to do & I'm sure that quite a good number of members will try it out. As I work long hours, I have quite a problem when I have to feed the fry & it will be quite usefull in my fish room.........
Prosit Charles for the very interesting talk we had today at the club. FULL HOUSE once again today for the meeting altough not a pretty day at all. thanks to all those who attended and to those who gave a helping hand. It was very nice to discuss with fish hobbyist our problems and our seccesses. Time really flies when you are having fun ehhhhhh ??
See you all in December guys....... and dolls ...... as their presence was surely felt once again for this meeting.......... Keep it up.
Martin
Yep i agree, well done charles... I'm sure that a lot of our members found those projects usefull for sure.
Also i'm really excited for seeing the new planted tank and the club next meeting. See you friends and well done again charles and all those who help for such meeting to take place. Keep it up guys
And by the way.... do not forget the PHOTOGRAPHIC competition to be held on DECEMBER 21st during the last meeting of the year. CU there.
Yep, i think that this is going to be a very interesting competition. I don't know if maybe anyway could give a short "lesson" on what a perfect photo should consist of, maybe even for our knowledge when we'll be taking photos of our fish we could provide better results. Just some basic tips... Don't know if it makes sense or not... Just a small suggestion (although i don't think that we'll have time) lol
Maybe next year we could have a meeting at the club about fish photography tips and techniques. Photo standards, sizes etc etc. Maybe someone knows a link about all this , I'm really curious what international rules are , if they exist anyway
Here is one simple link that i've found about photographing fish: http://www.fishfriend.com/articles/fish_photography_basic_guide_to_photographing_fishes.html
It doesn't have photo standards, sizes etc but it does have some tips and techniques which one could find helpful...
Have a look at it and tell me what you think.
Anyway we could provide 1000's of tips and techniques but the best technique is to be patient
"Fishes are perhaps one of the hardest subjects to photograph" I couldn't agree more !! That's a good link Kurt , but I wanted a site with official rules and stuff like that. But thanks for sharing anyway , some nice tips there
Np mate, although i'm not so sure what you're trying to find exactly, i mean rules are custome-made for every competition. Although you might find a site with standards of photography... If i'll find anything i'll post it here because it will be very interesting for everyone.
Prosit for the talk and to all that were present,it has been a while since i have attended the monthly meeting and it has been very nice watching the talk and taking part in the meeting.
jazz
creating a new topic on how to take proper fish photos would be interesting.... also some tips for beginers pleaseeeee.
