Next summer I am going to do the new aluminium shelving on the left hand side of the room. As you can see the right hand side shelves are all aluminium. I have to wait till summer to get the aquaria out in the yard.

I would start collecting "jablo" boxes, so you'll have containers to keep your fish in. I also think that you have to get all the things (stand + aquariums) ready & everything should be done in a day or two....... I'm sure that you can count on us for your fishroom "makeover".      I do not use Jablo boxes Seracin during the make over but the same aquariums I put down from the shelves themselves.... and by the way thanks for giving a helping hand mates.

I suggested Jablo Boxes as they are easy to handle & ideal for a moving fish around.

Also, when planning the aluminium shelving, leave ample space between a shelf & another, so you can handle fish well & also have space to clean the tanks.

Yes thanks Seracin for the advice. The only thing is that the more space you leave between the shelves the less water you will have as the aquaria will be smaller in height........... Heqqqq sort of  " thobb haga u tobghod ohra hux " ????

If you're doing new shelving, than you can adjust the height of the shelves & use the same tank with more space between them, so you can "work" more comfortable. Maybe you can lower the bottom tank a bit more or higher the top one. Stick out tongue

It should be no problem to attach a tap like mine but you have to raise them at least 1foot from the ground so you can put a bucket or whatever you use for water changes underneath the tap.  It would be a good idea to add an overflow , sometimes when I'm filling it I forget it and my fishroom turns into a swamp Big Smile

T3ddy, I have to get hold of some bricks & place the tanks on top of them. Then I'll contact you, so you can do the plumbing & thanks in advance. Stick out tongue
