I will try to post pics of another pair as I do not wish to disturb these ones as it is their first spawn

Re: What fish have you bred??

    This is my list

Cobra guppy, swordtails, platy, half beaks, half black guppy, molly,

Rosy barbs, tiger barbs, tee barbs, Niger barbs,

Cichlasoma citrinellum, labiatum, convict cichlid, cichlasoma labiatum, fire mouth, black belt cichlid, Oscars, angle fish, discus, Cichlasoma severum,

Pearl danios, zebra danios,  blindcave fish, white cloud mountain minnows,

Black widow, lemon tetra (only five fry), sarpea tetra, Congo tetra, black phantom tetra, silver dollars,

    Peppered corydoras (accidental)

    Koi, Shubunkins, Fantail gold fish,

Kuhli loach accidental, hoplo catfish, Siamese fighter,

Pearl Gouramies, opaline Gouramies, golden Gouramies, three spot Gouramies, dwarf Gouramies, honey Gouramies, Snake skin Gouramies,

    Leleupi, Brichardi, julidichromis, frontosa,

Don’t be shocked with the above list but all this it took me 40 years to do some of them by coincidence and others by trial and error. Fish breeding is one of the hard working hobby and expensive to do, just imagine the brine shrimps alone and the water and electrical bills in the old days it was cheaper.

Great & Incredible list Charles. Stick out tongue

What was the one that gave you most satisfaction?.

Please treat Corydoras as community inhabitants & not as scavengers. Stick out tongue

Congratulations that’s how breeding starts, I had a lot of such cases when you find one or two fry but that’s the trigger for fish breeding.

That's what really got me into the hobby. A bunch of guppies in a tank having fy, buying a new smaller tank to keep the fry and as tehy say teh rest is history Big Smile

When you are 51 you can reach it but now a days it is expensive to keep such a big number of aquariums.
