as you might have noticed i have been absent from these last meetings, during these months i was thinking of quitting the hobby, part of that reason well became true. i am selling some equipment and accesories as i am down sizing. fish breeding was very rewarding but unfortunatley it costs to keep 8tanks with fish nowadays. stuff i have are: gravel, heaters, aquariums, some filters. i also have plant pots made of plastic these will be givin free to anyone intrested =]

 I guess we all downsized a bit. In fact out of 7 tanks i have reduced them to 4 and i keep on as quarantine tank. But do not quit the hobby completely. I did that once a long time ago, removed the tank and all the fish. A few years later i went to buy some fish with a friend, and as soon as i got home i filled up the tank. At that time i only had one. I think the important thing is to think which fish you really want to keep and maybe breed too. And take it from there.

 Also wanted to ask you what size of tanks have you got and the price please. In my office we are looking to replace our plastic tank with a small glass one

 Hello Kristofer. I myself have been absent from the forum for quite some time as well. I have always know to to be a good and enthusiast fish keeper and breeder. I agree with Cikkus and hope that you inform us that you have kept a tank or two just to keep the hobby alive in you. If you need any help, please do not hesitate to contact me or any other friends of your who I am sure all will be glad to assist you.

after having tried to sell my tanks, i decided to keep them. when ever a prospective buyer texted me i sometimes said they were sold. it's just to hard to give up this hobby, i love fish and keeping them gives me joy and a sense of responsibility. I'm starting from fresh again and tonight i will be cycling a tank or two. will also try to make it to the club next week. see you there hopefully guys =]

 I know how it feels Krist. This hobby attaches so much that it is very hard to get detached from it. You can downsize your aquariums but it is very hard to sell everything and end up with nothing.  Hope to see you at the club friend.
