This is the first email I read this morning; you can imagine what I felt for such email. May be some of you don’t know him much but to give you a picture of him he was the member who used to do all the neon tubes and electrical jobs during the show. He was always trying to help others and for sure he is helping God now May God helps his family and fiancé during such time. Let us not forget him in our prayers I will keep you updated when the funeral is going to take place.

Today we have lost a keen fish hobbyist, a fish breeder, a club member, a helping hand..... but amongst all.... A TRUE FRIEND OF OURS. Ernest was always ready to serve and help to the best of his knowledge. I will always remember Ernest as the shy person but always available to help in any way. I will never forget him when we had that football game in San Gwann as he made me laugh so much when he hit me in the wrong place. We will never forget you my friend. You will always be in our hearts and minds and prayers.

I too received a similar message I couldn't believe what was I reading , I had heard on the news but I had no idea it was our dear friend. Apart from being my friend at the society , I used to work with him at ST Microelectronics. He was always smiling and happy and always gave a helping hand when he could. He used to make me laugh too , he was always joking. I will never forget you my friend. May you rest in peace. God bless you and your family and your closed ones Please keep us updated on the funeral.

The funeral is going to be held at Cospicua parish church (bormla) at 2.30 pm

 On this forum he was known as thunder fasciatus. As others said he was always there when we needed something. He helped me alot with our newsletter, did posters and other club related things. Lately he was also helping is with the new website. He was very talented and also a keen fishkeeper.

Lately he was very busy with finishing his new home, because he was going to get married next March, but still found time to help the club and us.  

'Illum sejjer inqatta trinka', 'illum irrid immur il-post ghax gej tal-gibs' these were the words during this year at work.

We all lost a friend today and we must always remember Ernest in our prayers. May God help your family and girlfriend in these hard days.

i went cold when i heard =/ we used to talk regularly at the club. he was always very cheerful and on the go =/ ready help when needed. God bless man may you rest in peace =/

I don't know how to express myself and my feelings, I'm shocked & confused, it's just like a horrible nightmare that one want to wake up from it and it’s done, but you can't! 

I'm just a human and I can't understand God’s will.  All I can imagine is that the lord needed a precious jewel beside him and he took our friend.

I'll sure miss him to death and can't stand that we will have our monthly meetings and he want be with us, but his soul will always be there, in our heart.My sincere condolences to his family and his fiancé

I was very confused when my sister diane was trying to tell me something about our kind friend ernest,i feel that something terrible happend,and it was that  what i was thinking! I will never forget you my friend,at our aquarist club and the bonsai culture club,may god be by he`s side for ever!
