    labidochromis caraleus nkali

    hi there,

    here are my nkalis. kept with aulonocaras and victorians - well, adaptable to almost any malawi tank..

    Nice cichlids utaka bay.Are those difficult to breed or like the common? I never saw the white tip in malta.

    actually, in my case, i am breeding these much easier than the lions cove ones(yellow)but it should be the same.

     in reality it seems that the yellow variety is actually the rarest one in the lake, while there are a good number of white varieties with slight changes according to location.

     

    this caraleus is one of my favourites because it has a place in every tank.

     

    i keep them in 3 different tanks - with aulonocaras(300litres) and pundamilia, with plachidochromis sp jalo(300litres) and astotilapia, and in a big tank (600litres)with linchochromis acuticeps and plachidochromis phenocilus mdoka.
