Congeratulations Ray. You are doing a great job with these creatures. Do they stay in our waters now Ray or do they migrate ??

So, after breeding & raising them, you'll let them free at M'xlokk?.

Ray, do you think that their survival rate is good enough after they are released?.

Thanks Martin. No I don't think they migrate, especially during the warm seasons when they are found close to shore.

    Corydoras seracin:

Yes I had to, cos providing amphipods, isopods and shrimp larvae to all those hungry young cuttlefish is not an easy task! They require about 8 each daily and collecting and grading them is not easy and very time consuming too (I have other things to do apart from breeding:-)). I'm confident that some will survive as the place is relatively safe from predatory fish. I released about 130 in all from three batches. I'm keeping eight from the first brood for a future display aquarium.

Very good Ray. Yes Sometimes it's difficult for us to cope with lots of Tropical fish fry, let alone with Cuttlefish.

Let's hope to see them on display next year during our yearly visit. Big Smile
