    So you're saying that it's hardy like gambusia!Big Smile I just love fish which are as though as old boots! like tench,  paradise fish, shubunkins, rosy barbs! that triggered me enough. My new fish will be these fathead minnows Cool

     Do you think that the Red Shinner will tolerate our summer when temperatures reach 30 deg and more ???

    I don't think so, these fish come from fast flowing waters of North America, so their water tempreture is always low, I sugest to use a power flow internal filter and good areation in summer to keep them, ok!

    Thanks Bert for the advice. Well I better not take a chance as they do not come cheap and my water aquarium water during summer turns in the low 30's.
