l-importanti huwa illi qabel tiprova tibridja kull tip ta huta, huwa mportanti li l-mara tkum mimlijja sew bil-bajd inkella kollu jkun

ghalxejn. Dan jigi billi titma hafna ikel ta sustanza u jekk jista jkun haj. Il-bdil ta l-ilma huwa mportanti ukoll ghal motivazzjoni

    tal-breeding.

thos morning got my 3rd spawn from these fish. i have high hopes for this spawn as i found only 5 eggs with fungus the others looked clear. used 2 males with 1 female as suggested and hopefull it worked. i turned on the airetiaon to ful speed and covered the tank. i did a 10% water cahnge everyday to the tank to keep hygiene up. btw how long do the eggs take to hatch??

I'm not sure, but if remember well, they hatch in 24 to 48 hrs. Make sure you have some Infusoria & Microworms, as the fry are quite small.

I'm sure that Charles & Bertrand can help you more that i did, as they're more into Cold Water Fish.

Yes as most egg scaterers they haych in a day or so. I wouldn't disturb the water much in meas of water changes. Goodluck my friend.

    Re: rosybarb eggs

I usually mix some liquifry and micromorws, but you can begin with microworms  from the start. In your microworms' culture you'll find different sizes of worms as they're reproducing everyday.

    Re: rosybarb eggs

To begin with you must use infosoria ,second stage micro worms, third brine shrimp and dont forget fine baby food ,i used to feed them six times daily and water change every other day,With such methode, siphon by means of an air pipe fitted with an air stone so that no fry will be siphoned.Good luck .

    Re: rosybarb eggs

Hi kris don't feed them for now till they eat thier own yolk sack. For the moment they are lying at the bottom. Begin feeding when they're free swimming. If you feed them from this stage you will pollute the water and kill the fry.

As first food if you have some liquifry, mix it with some microworms and put it in their tank using a pipette. You could leave some crushed and boiled lettuce in a jar full of water to induce infusoria. You have to put this on a sunny windowsill.
