 Tomorrow we're meeting Andy Pearce at our club in St.Venera. Andy is the chairperson of The Association of Aquarists.  All members are invited  to come.  Sorry for the short notice but we've been notified this evening !

At what time is Andy Pearce going to be at the club?.

 At around 6.30pm.

On Tuesday the 8th April we met at our club with Mr.Andy Pearce and his wife. Mr.Peacre is the Chairman of the Association of Aquarist in the South of England. This Association holds 6 clubs in the area. Mr.Pearce was briefed on the history of our club and how it evolved in the past 30 years of its existance. He was shown photographs from the past and other recent ones. We discussed common difficulties such as the declining paying members, fund raising, paying rents for clubs, annual shows, and other issues.  We also discussed in detail how both Societies can aid one another and where possible give advise in common difficulties. Mr.Pearce and his wife were more than astonished when our President Charles Grima explained what it entailed to put on a show like our anual show. They were amazed on the ammount of species benched and the sizes of fish displayed. Well it was a very cordial meeting where at the end Mr.Pearce was presented by a Club token and also with a copy of our "Ilma Car". Mr.and Mrs Pearce thanked us for our hospitality and promised us that all material given by us and the meeting we had will undoubtfully be conveyed to all the members of their association. Thanks to J.Theuma, the couple were driven back to their hotel at the end of our meeting.
