    What fish have you bred??

A bright idea popped into my mind! I tought this would be a very interesting thread were everyone can write what fish have bred into his aquarias. This thread can be helpful for amateur breeders so that they contact the right person to give him tips! :)

    so this is my list:

Siamese fighter (betta splendens) - Red devil cichlid (Amphilophus Labiatus) - Convict cichlid (Archocentrus nigrofasciatus) - Malawi golden cichlid (Melanchromis auratus) - Red Zebra (Metraclima esterae) - Red top Zebra (Metraclima "red top") - German red pecock (Auloncara spp.) - Burtoni (Astatotilapia Burtoni) - White cloud mountain minnow (Tanichthys albonubes) - Bronze cory (Corydoras Aeneus) - Koi (Cyprinus Carpio) - Shubunkin (Crassius auratus) - Paradise fish (Macropodus opercularis) - Kribensis (Pelviachromis pulcher)

thats my list so far..  what yours?

I had the yellow kribs a while back, roughly 6 years ago as well as the red kribensis. The p.taneatus I had last year.

I had black ruby barbs (puntius nigrofasciatus) but I gave them away after a week. Nice fish but they used to nip the find of otehr fish I kept, namely the longfin rosybarbs.

Nice list man Will you be trying to breed some "rare" cory species?

Re: What fish have you bred??

I have C.panda but never tried to breed them. I bought them last year & so i'm still waiting till they mature. Actually i'm not trying to breed any species, apart from C.rabauti & BN.

I also think that my C.trilineatus are ready to breed & maybe they already do it, in my planted tank, as i have seen their breeding behaviour a few times.

Actually there aren't alot of Corydoras keepers/breeders & i have never talked to anybody that bred C.panda.

C.rabauti have quite interesting coloration as fry.

I agree that there are few cory keepers/breeders

I have seen breeding behaviour in my pandas for quite a while but as yet no eggs in the breeding tank Sad Will keep you posted and will post pics if i have fry

Today I found my youngest kribensis pair have frySmile. I am quite astonished as these fish are barely 3months old and there is quite a large number of fry (counted about 44).  The parents are still quite small (1") obviously due to their age. My worry now is taht the parents will be stunted Tongue Tied.
