    Desert Goby - Chlamydogobius eremius

Few months ago I've sow these fish in a lfs, they looked pale white , big headed with an ugly face and stayed on the bottom or anchored on the side of the tank. nothing that one would look at it twice, but their moving eyes and funny jumping like movments cought me and asked the owner what was their name. Back home I rushed to the net to find more about them, well I 've found a very interesting article and with their simple requirments, they where just the kind of fish for me! So the next morning I went to the lfs " gas mal- pjanca!! Stick out tongue", to get them, and i took all 10, 4 males and 6 females, Their setup tank is sipmle a 30 ltrs tank with fine gravel, several pvc pipes and some vallisneria shoots, no heaters needed, just gentle filtration and natural sunlight, well in two weeks they coloured up nicely and ate everything adible like pigs,  Here is the link I've found on them and some pictures I've took, enjoy.

Males are very pretty Bert.  Are they too territorial to house 4 males in one tank?

Thanks charles ! John, I noticed that they don't behave aggresively, males do just mock fights, side by side pushing each other with erected fins and some open wide mouth to mouth pushing, thats all nothing serious just bluff!!Geeked
