The Forum

 

What is a Forum?
Taking the word from a dictionary's point of view a forum is An online discussion group, where participants with common interests can exchange open messages.
The main objective is to provide an area where users can interact with questions, answers and discussions on a specific topic. In our case the Fishkeeping Hobby. One can post messages on anything he/she wants whether it is on Freshwater, Tropical or Marine fish, Diseases, Maintenance, or simply just let the rest of the community forum know about the goals and achievements he/she made. With this in mind we can meet up more often and discuss several topics that are not usually tackled in the normal meeting held at the Malta Aquarist Society.

So how does this Forum work?
To read the posts and messages you only need to click in the Forum area and read the topics which are available. If you wish to create a post of reply you are required to create an online identity [ID or nickname] to be used on the forum. You do this by clicking on the JOIN link found in the top right side of this page. Please not that this forum is entirely free and anyone can be part of this Community.
If you are already a member and you want to post a message or a new topic you will need your ID or nickname to be logged on. This can be done by clicking on the SIGN IN link found near the Join link at the top right of this page. After entering your ID access the Forum link and there you will find a new post link to start a new topic. If you want to reply or continue to add your ideas in a current discussion all you need is to click on the particular discussion and press the REPLY link to add your comments. hello

The Photos

 

This section does not need any introductions or explanations; the Gallery is the place where our members put there pictures for everyone to view. Whether it is a fish, a beautifully designed aquarium or a fish  project, it is still put into our Gallery section.
All we need is that the member itself sends us an email on images@maltaaquarist.com with his Full Name and in which gallery he would like the picture to be added. We will make sure to add the picture with the rest of the Gallery photos.
Apart from this other members of the Community may also view the galleries and give out comments and rate the picture in question.
