This section of the Malta Aquarist Website is intended to provide a place for all members, users and visitors to view, raise subjects for discussions and exchange ideas and information on our hobby. One can also put forth views and broach comments.

• The maltaaquarist.com platform is an open area available to everyone, one may feel free to agree or disagree in any discussions or comments brought up.
• Moderators and Administration control the maltaaquarist.com platform thus any queries, reports or other should be handled only by them. Decisions taken by Moderators and the Administration are for the best of the maltaaquarist.com website hence respect such conclusions.
• Sales or Wanted items are to be kept in the Classified Section in the maltaaquarist.com website. Commercial sellers should contact the Webmaster on webmaster@maltaaquarist.com for commercial plans and advertisements.
• Users that have any kind of commercial premises may not advertise in any way their products on the Forum without the authority of the Committee of the Malta Aquarist Society. The Moderators and Administration cannot give the right to a User to promote his advert without consulting and obtain an approval from the Committee of the Malta Aquarist Society.
• Any promotion whether it may be of a product name, website, forum, copyright material or other cannot be used in conjunction with a Username, Tag or any other format within the Maltaaquarist.com

• One must include the Location in his/her profile.
• The E-mail address must be valid due to account activation.
• One must update his/her profile as soon as possible. Un-updated profiles will be removed.
• Avatars are enabled, nevertheless one must make sure to utilise an adequate display image.

• Use of obscene, offensive, threatening, vulgar or abusive language is not permitted. The post and all of its replies shall be deleted.
• Posts, replies, links or other data in which pornographic, sexually oriented or offensive material that is visible or referenced, will be deleted and the user banned.
• Material containing any copyright text, images or other cannot be posted. Please make sure to either reference any copyright material or obtain permission.
• One may not post any sexist, racist, defamatory or discriminatory comments in any way as well as propagation of religious beliefs or unnecessary futile comments to any particular religion or organisation.
• Do not divulge any personal data preferably yours and certainly not of other users or people without their authorization. Although the Malta Aquarist Society will try to remove any divulged personal data, it is not responsible for any damage or consequences that such data may produce.
• Personal attacks, gossips, unconstructive criticism, sarcasm and scandals are not tolerated.
• Any Spam, advertisements, promotions or other is not permissible. Users spamming or advertising shall be banned from the maltaaquarist.com platform instantaneously. In the case of promotions or upcoming events out of the scope of the hobby, one can only take authorization from a moderator, Committee member or Administrator beforehand.
• The discussions' objective is to make friends, learn and chat with other members of the hobby thus attacks or insults are not tolerated
• Download managers, downloading software (such as Warez or other) and illegal software are not permissible. Download links, posts of copyrighted material or other will be deleted.
• One may not post the same question in numerous forums. Refrain identical posts into a singular forum. A moderator may reserve the right to remove ALL posts from all forums.
• A moderators decision is final. Nevertheless you may report misuse of responsibility only to the Administrator indicating the nature of the report. Action will be taken only if the report is of a plausible nature.
• Moderators reserve the right to delete posts, messages or other without any notification due to maintenance or unfitting comments/messages of any kind.
• One may report an improper message, photo, user or other giving out full evidence and cause of the description
• Posts regarding banned users or deleted posts are not allowed. Such messages will be removed.
• Care should be taken when creating and sending a post. The meaning of a message may vary according to the structure of the message itself. For example keeping the CAPS Lock (Writing in capital letters) is considered as shouting.

• All photos are moderated and viewed by a specific team before they are put onto the Gallery section therefore photos out of the scope of the subject will not be approved and shall be deleted.
• Personal attacks, incompetent or offensive comments towards a specific photo or a group of photos will be deleted.
• When sending a photo the user must clearly define in which category the image is to be put, the description of the image and his/her nickname or full name. Failure to do so will result in the deletion of the image.
• To reduce any conflicts and reserve any privacy details, images put in the Gallery section shall be always tagged and posted as the administrator.
• Images should not exceed the size of 800 X 600 pixels size and be less than 1024Kb (1MB - 1 MegaByte).
