If it's possible feed them newly hatched brine shrimps and after 2 months feed them good quality crushed flakes. With baby brine shrimps they will grow more nicer and make regular water changes for faster growing. If you have put a few pest snails for eating the un eaten food.

Yes Alex I like your setup. If I'm you I wouldn't add any catfish with them I will leave only Malawi cichlids. I'm glad that I've gave you some help and goodluck with your malawi fry . Don't feed the fry if they aren't free swimming because they eat from there egg sac and they...

Hi Alex Agius . Welcome to our forum . Well if I'm you I will leave those 3 fry with the adult in the same tank. Yes that something black are eggs. If you want you can prepare a small tank, fill it with the same water from the main tank, set the temp as the main tank and for filtration make a sponge...

Yes I now that they are too young to breed but I was curious about how they breed. I feed them three times daily and make 25% water change once a week. Thanks very much Martin and don't worry.When I have a chance I will visit them for sure.

Thanks Martin for your comment. No in that size they layed a patch of eggs and that's the colour of the stone and not eggs.
