I have one of these and its really one of my favourites since I put food on a piece of bogwood and it comes up for it. It would easily come up the air pipe so the best way is to cover the tank with a lid. It will feed on granules, shrimps, small pieces of banana, peas and all sorts of vegetables.

The third photo shows a pair with upper fish being a male with the first rays on its dorsal fin protruding from the rest. Also you can see the red belly of the female.

On the contrary, aluminium is much more expensive.... That stand only will cost me more then €200 to buy the material only as my father will then cut them to size and build them.

It works but not if the tanks are in direct sunlight ofcourse as the algae will grow on the glass just the same.

The drawback with gouramis is that they're slow growing....

Emperor tetras will be a nice addition to your Discus setup Cikkus as they aren't small fish. You can go for Bleeding heart tetras too but these are a bit delicate. Spart from Emperors you can go for Rosy tetras or Diamond tetras (like those we have at the club) but I think you should find an lfs to order them for you because they ...
